The Doctor, also known as Doc, is a minor character who appears in Trigun (1998 anime).

Biography

Doc with a young Brad and Jessica.

Around 13 years after the SEEDS ships crashed onto the planet, the Doctor encountered Vash when he'd collapsed in the desert after wandering alone and had been brought back to the ship where he received treatment and was welcomed into their community.

80 years later, the Doctor, along with a young Brad and Jessica, watched Vash as he searched for relatives of Rem on the ship's computer.UNDER THE SKY SO BLUE

Character

Appearance

The Doctor is a very short and very old man with tan skin. He is bald, but when he was younger he had curly dark brown hair. His eyes appear to be closed, but he may simply be squinting. His eyes were shown to be dark brown as well as wider open when he was younger. His age is never stated, but he could be close to 100 years old during the events of the series.

Personality

The Doctor is a very friendly man, but can be stern and serious when the situation requires.

Occupation

The Doctor is a doctor. He also serves as a community leader among the ship residents.

Relationships

Vash the Stampede

Brad

The Doctor appears to be a mentor figure for Brad. He may have been a caretaker for Brad as a child, as he was seen shyly holding on to the Doctor's coat when watching Vash use the computer on the ship.

Max Simon

The Doctor asked Vash how Max was doing when he visited the Flying Ship, implying that they know each other.
