The bartender admitted he didn't actually see Vash himself, but had heard that he'd left town before dawn and headed east. Meryl asked what Vash looked like, and the bartender gave a description: a 12 feel tall man wielding a huge weapon who had a mohawk and tons of henchman, as well as a reputation of being "''the worst womanizer anyone's ever seen.''" Unbeknownst to him, the bartender had given the insurance girls a description of [[Descartes]], not Vash.{{Storylink|The $$60 Billion Man}}

==Uniform==
All the Bad Lads aside from Neon wear an identical uniform. It consists of a black bodysuit with wide shoulder pads that completely covers the shape of the wearer's head and shoulders. There are 6 glowing green neon stripes on the shoulders, 3 on each side. There is a circular opening for the head which is covered by a round metal faceplate that resembles a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_mask gas mask] and has blue-green goggles. A tuft of brown hair protrudes from the top of the mask. They wear off-white gloves and boots.

=== Appearance ===
The only variations in uniform seen are Bellamy/Beremy, who wears a watch over his left glove, and one Bad Lad who is seen with a pair of binoculars mounted on his mask (in the manga, it appears this Bad Lad is wearing a bandana as well).
The bartender is tall, well-muscled man with short dark-coloredmanga/brownanime hair and brown eyes, though he seems to have his eyes squinted shut most of the time.

He wears a simple white chef's hat and a long white apron over a greenanime tank top, and black pants. He holds a pipe in his mouth, which appears to be unlit.
