Notes

Trivia

  • The Monthly Satellite Times headline for this episode reads "Tragic Love Story in a Desert"
  • The preview for this episode, included at the end of episode 10, features two brief clips that are unseen in the final episode. Both clips are fully animated and appear to take place during the scene of Vash, Meryl, and the five caravan men in the Sand Cafe. The reason for their omission is unknown.
    • The first clip is a close-up of Vash's hand grabbing a pistol from the holster of the caravan man in the brown cowboy hat.
    • The second clip shows the back of Meryl's head and three of the five caravan men who approach Vash. The man in the brown cowboy hat appears to be speaking, possibly to Meryl, while the man in the grey cowboy hat on the right is scowling and trembling.
