Meryl's thomas has light brown fur and grey-beige scaled legs, feet, and underside of its tail. Its face is beige and it has green eyes. Its shield is beige with black and red^{1998 anime}/blue and red^film eye spots that resembles an oval-shaped eye. It is equipped with a harness, saddle, stirrups, saddlebags, and Meryl's luggage.

• In the Badlands Rumble Extra manga, Meryl's thomas appears using the manga's hoofed thomas design, despite taking place in the anime continuity. The eye spot pattern on its shield is different as well.
