- Bostalk is a Count instead of an Earl.
- Meryl and Milly are not in the pilot chapter.
- There are three unnamed hostages in their position, one of which is killed during the mercenary ambush.
- Marvin is killed when he is hit by the wagon.
- Bostalk dies after being shot by Ingway in their final duel.
- Vash's prosthetic arm gun is revealed and used when Stan's men ambush him.
- Vash uses his arm gun instead of his Long Colt revolver when he confronts Stan. He points his gun at Stan's chest instead of his head.
- Vash shoots the sheriff badge while it is still on Stan's chest instead of pulling it off and throwing it in the air.
Additionally, a brief scene from Trigun volume 1, chapter 12 is adapted when Meryl dramatically opens her cape, showing it is lined with Derringers.
