However, she has ulterior motives: she has heard that the man responsible for annihilating July is in the city as well and hopes to exact vengeance for the deaths of her parents. She hires [[Kesskass|an assassin]] to try to kill Vash, but when he is unsuccessful she attempts to do it herself by locking him in the chamber beneath Inepril's [[plant]] as it threatens to melt down.
