Notes
- This was the first North American release of Trigun to include the original, unique opening animations for each episode. The previous releases by Pioneer and Geneon had reused episode 1's opening animation for all 26 episodes.
- The original openings on this release have hardcoded Japanese credits with the English translation of the credits overlaid as a subtitle track. The English subtitle track can be turned off, but there are no clean versions of the openings for episodes 3-26 included on this release.
- Ironically, the next North American release of the series, FUNimation's 2010 Trigun - The Complete Series[17] DVD collection, once again reused episode 1's opening animation on all 26 episodes.
- This was the final home media release of Trigun by Geneon before the rights were acquired by FUNimation.
- An article about this release was featured in issue 35 of Anime Insider magazine.[18]
