The DVD cover features artwork of Vash, Meryl, and Milly by Yasuhiro Nightow, originally from the cover of the Japanese Victor Trigun D-1 DVD release.

The back cover has the following summary:

STORY

On a desert planet scorched by twin suns, bounty hunters scour the planet looking for Vash the Stampede who has a $$60,000,000,000 bounty placed on his head!  Vash has been credited with the destruction of several towns, but miraculously, there is no record of him ever taking a life. Who is this "Humanoid Typhoon"?

The episodes and DVD features are listed beside the story summary.

The DVD case insert is double-sided and reversible, featuring alternate artwork of Vash and Meryl from the TRIGUN STAGE-1 and TRIGUN STAGE-2 covers, with the boxes originally reading "STAGE-1" and "STAGE-2" being changed to read "DISC 1" on each.

The DVD case is packaged in a cardboard slipcover with an identical front and back design to the DVD case insert. The Trigun logo on the front and spine are embossed and glossy. The artwork on the front cover is glossy, and the artwork on the spines are embossed and glossy as well. The rest of the slipcover is printed with a matte finish.

The DVD is printed with a grey metallic texture that is riddled with bullet holes.

Included in the case is a promotional insert featuring the front cover artwork on the front and pictures of all 6 DVDs with their release dates on the back. Also included is a survey card from Geneon.

Menus

This section of the article is currently in progress.

The menus are designed to look like various wanted posters nailed to a wall.

On the main menu, there is a flickering light effect and the edges of the posters appear to be fluttering in the wind as a portion of the song "Never Could Have Been Worse" plays, accompanied by a blowing wind sound effect. The main menu features cropped artwork of Vash from this volume's cover as well as a portion of the cover of Trigun D-2.

The setup menu's posters feature artwork of Legato from the TRIGUN STAGE-6 cover and Marilyn Nebraska from the TRIGUN STAGE-7 cover. During the menu transistion, artwork of Zazie the Beast from the TRIGUN STAGE-11 cover can be seen.

The extras menu's posters feature artwork of Dominique the Cyclops from the TRIGUN STAGE-8 and Wolfwood from the REMIX volume 3 cover.
