This episode's story is adapted from Trigun Maximum chapters "HERO REBORN" and "LINA".
The scene of Vash and Knives in Vasquez's office, previously partially seen in episode 12, was later adapted in the Trigun Maximum chapter "LOSS".
Notes
Trivia
- Vash's flashback of Knives in July reuses animation originally seen in episode 12, but uses a different color palette and expands on the scene. The version used in this episode is also used again in episode 26.
