Charlie[1] is a "character" in the Trigun anime and Trigun: Badlands Rumble.

Biography

Jessica somehow owned Charlie at a young age.[2] She can be seen holding him during a flashback.

Years later, Sandie carries him around in her backpack.

Several stuffed rabbits resembling Charlie appear in Badlands Rumble. Amelia Ann McFly owned a smaller, white-colored one when she was young.

Character

Appearance

Charlie is a tan-colored stuffed rabbit toy with long, floppy limbs and body. He has small round eyes and a wide-open mouth full of sharp teeth.

Charlie.

Non-Canon

Several Charlies appear in a comic included in the interview section of the Trigun Art Book.[3]

Notes

  • His face is reminiscent of Domo-kun, the mascot for the Japanese broadcasting corporation NHK. This is likely a coincidence, as Domo-kun's first public appearance was in December 1998, months after Trigun aired.
