Biography

Manga

While the bartender was working at Lob's Diner, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson visited the establishment. He asked them what their orders were. Following the interruption by the rude bar patrons, Meryl asked him how much further April City was from their present location. The bartender told them that it was about 10 miles east, and then warned the insurance girls that the Humanoid Typhoon was rumored to have gone that way, to which Meryl replied that they had business with him. The bartender cautioned them to stay away from the Humanoid Typhoon. Taking the opposite of the bartender's advice, Meryl immediately ran back outside to follow this lead as Milly reluctantly followed, distraught that they'd never ordered.THE $$60 BILLION DOUBLE DOLLAR MAN

1998 anime

While the bartender was working at Lob's Diner, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson visited the establishment. He asked them what their orders were. Following the interruption by the rude bar patrons, Meryl asked him for information about Vash the Stampede as she'd heard he'd recently been in Felnarl. The bartender inquired why they were asking, and if the "innocent-looking" girls were after the $$60 billion bounty. Meryl and Milly replied no, that they were here on business. The bartender admitted he didn't actually see Vash himself, but had heard that he'd left town before dawn and headed east. Meryl asked what Vash looked like, and the bartender gave a description: a 12 feel tall man wielding a huge weapon who had a mohawk and tons of henchman, as well as a reputation of being "the worst womanizer anyone's ever seen." Unbeknownst to him, the bartender had given the insurance girls a description of Descartes, not Vash. The $$60 Billion Man

Later on, Meryl recalled this interaction with the bartender while writing her her routine report about Vash.Vash the Stampede
