Synopsis
An elderly couple tries to protect their property, a lush, green geo-plant, from a greedy landowner with the help of Meryl and Milly.
Characters
Manga
This episode's story is adapted from the Trigun chapters "LITTLE ARCADIA", "SON", and "RIVER OF LIFE". It follows the original manga fairly closely but with the following notable differences:
- Meryl and Milly wear different jackets during chapter 10 and 11's nighttime scenes.
- There is an old photograph of Badwick's family instead of a child's drawing in the picture frame.
- Morgan's henchmen in both versions are returning characters, although they differ:
- In the manga, they are the hired mercenaries from the Trigun pilot chapter
- In the anime, they are the bounty hunter gang from the beginning of episode 5.
- Badwick wears a helmet while riding his motorcycle.
Notes
Trivia
- Vash breaks the fourth wall in his final scene by turning to the camera and exclaiming "Hey, is that all the time I get?" as the frame shrinks and disappears cartoonishly. A similar fourth wall break happens in the manga chapter this episode is adapted from.
Errors
Animation
- Badwick's father is inconsistently drawn with and without a mustache throughout the episode.
