Vash is livid, pinning Monev to the ground with a gun to his head as Monev begs for mercy. Vash eventually relents, sparing Monev from death at his hand. However, Monev is later dealt with by someone else, as his corpse appears later on hanging from a wall in [[Places (anime)|Augusta]].
