Puppets appear in Trigun (1998 anime) and Trigun Maximum.
Overview
Puppets are used by Leonof the Puppetmaster. Most puppets seen are humanoid in appearance and are incredibly lifelike to the point that they are mistaken for actual humans. Puppets of birds also appear. Pieces of the puppets can be combined to create monstrous forms.
