Biography

Manga

Dick worked for law enforcement under Sheriff Stan's command. When Stefany Bostalk and four others were taken hostage by Ingway and his gang, he relayed the witness testimony to Count Bostalk, as well as the criminals' demands. While Stan and Bostalk were talking, a dancing man–Vash the Stampede–walked past Dick, catching his attention. The three men watched in confusion and horror as the oblivious Vash danced towards the bar where the hostage situation was unfolding, unable to hear their warning shouts due to the loud music playing in his earbuds. When Vash walked into the bar and immediately got captured by the criminals, Dick updated his notes to add that there was now a sixth hostage.

Dick presented the getaway wagon, with Stan's hired mercenaries hidden aboard, and briefcase of $$400,000 in nonconsecutive bills to Ingway and his gang from outside the bar.TRIGUN PILOT
