The Ninelives are a group of nine characters who compose Gray the Ninelives from Trigun and Trigun Maximum.

The Ninelives were revealed to be inside Gray the Ninelives when Wolfwood blew Gray's body open with a missile launched from the Punisher. Wolfwood noticed five sets of eyes peering back at him from the hole in Gray's eviscerated rib cage.NO ESCAPE

Two ship residents who were tasked with guarding the cell holding the two Ninelives attempted to get revenge on their murdered family members by beating them to death. The two Ninelives were captured again. The one-eyed Ninelives of them spoke to Meryl from his prison cell. He gave her Gray the Ninelives' coin, telling her it must be given to Vash the Stampede as it was part of the rules, whether he wanted to play Legato's game or not. He insisted it was important for the fight to come. Meryl delivered the coin to Vash when they reuinted in Octovern. THE NOISE OF THUNDER
