Leonof the Puppetmaster is a Gung-Ho Gun who appears in Trigun (1998 anime).
Biography
Like the other Gung-Ho Guns, Leonof is present at Jeneora Rock. He appears again at the end of "Hang Fire," collecting his puppet Lurald after the Polo/Fris feud resolves itself. His other puppet Unica then reports to Legato that Vash the Stampede is "on the move" again.
Leonof appears again indirectly when he has Lurald infiltrate the floating SEEDS ship along with Gray the Ninelives and Hoppered the Gauntlet (disambiguation). It is from here that he is able to report (through Unica) that Nicholas D. Wolfwood has turned traitor. Leonoff meets his end when Wolfwood finds him at the end of "Out of Time" and blows him up with The Punisher.
