Warrens City

Overview

Warrens City is a fairly large, circularly-shaped city that has two Plants and at least four pieces of ship. Most of the city is bordered by tall cliffs. The closest town is said to be 4,000 yarz away.PEACE MAKER

History

In the past, Warrens City was attacked by vicious bandits. Frank Marlon, the gunsmith, handed out guns he'd made to the residents of the town and taught them how to use them to defend themselves against the bandits. Marlon was regarded as a hero by the townspeople.

Some time later, the bank was robbed. Caught in the crossfire was Marlon's wife and child, who both died, tragically shot by guns that Marlon himself had made and given to the robbers himself. Marlon turned to alcohol in his grief and became an alcoholic.

During the ten years following this robbery, Warrens City became peaceful enough that they no longer had a sheriff. This left them vulnerable to attack by a gang of bandits led by a man claiming to be Vash the Stampede, who were targeting the armored bank truck.

The gang was defeated when the townspeople stood up against them. The bandits fled town.PEACE MAKER

Notable Locations

Bank

The bank was once robbed by gunmen. Frank Marlon's wife and child were killed in the crossfire, shot by guns made and given to the robbers by Marlon himself. Around ten years later, a group of bandits led by a man claiming to be Vash the Stampede attacked the armored car when it came to make a delivery to the bank. They were easily able to intimidate the defenseless town and began stealing money from the bank. The would-be bank robbers were stopped and run out of town when the real Vash the Stampede inspired the town to stand up for themselves.

Cafe

A cafe near the center of the town. Milly and Meryl discussed their next step in finding Vash the Stampede while enjoying a meal on the patio of the cafe. The cafe's menu appears to include banana sundaes, Mille-feuille pastries, and tea, which were seen being served to the girls by a nicely-dressed waiter.

Frank Marlon's home

Frank Marlon's home is very messy, with liquor bottles on every surface. The exterior resembles a storefront, though the sign appears to have been painted over. Frank brings Vash to his home after the two drunken men are kicked out of the saloon.
