Alex is an unseen minor character who appears in Trigun (1998 anime) and Trigun Maximum.

Biography

1998 anime

Alex was someone Rem loved. She described him as her "emotional support."sub Alex helped her confront her mistakes and correct them. When he died, she realized she would be have the one to point herself in the right direction. Because of this, she decided to come aboard the SEEDS ship and "look into the future."sub

When Rem gave Vash his first haircut, she styled his hair to point upwards and said "looks a lot like his."sub Vash asked about him and where he was now, Rem told him Alex was now "in the land of angels...Heaven." sub

When the SEEDS ships began to fall, Rem asked Alex to give her strength before sending the twins into the escape pod and attempting to correct the ships' courses.REM SAVEREM

Trigun Maximum

Alex died in an accident back on Earth. Rem became very depressed after his death.SEPARATE WAYS

Rem describes Vash's hair as "look[ing] a lot like his"sub after she cuts it short and styles it to point upwards, so Alex may have had similar hair to Vash's.
