Vash the Stampede is the main protagonist of Trigun (1998 anime) and Trigun: Badlands Rumble.

Vash is tall and lanky, with blonde hair that stands on end. He wears a long red duster that covers a black leather bodysuit. He also has a pair of glasses with round orange lenses and arms that are crimped into a "W" shape.

Beneath his clothes, Vash is covered in scars. His entire left arm is also a prosthetic.
