Biography

1998 anime

E.G. Mine participated in the massacre Roderick Thieves at Jeneorarock and was present for the Gung-Ho Gun roll call. DEMONS EYE

When Legato, Midvalley, and his band were relaxing in the hotel ballroom in the city of Augusta, E.G. Mine was impatient to fight - even going so far as to openly question Legato's judgement regarding who'd been sent out prior to that point. Legato decided to allow E.G. Mine to fight Vash next, and that he'd "even set the stage for [him]." E.G. Mine was excited, and remarked that Legato could be reasoned with and hoped that the reward would be "reasonable." Unbeknownst to E.G. Mine, Legato had also dispatched Rai-Dei the Blade (disambiguation).

Once Vash finished clearing the people out of Augusta, E.G. Mine confronted him by displaying the corpses of Monev the Gale and Dominique the Cyclops pinned to the wall on a building in the city. He asked Vash if he likes his "decorations." Vash asked E.G. Mine if he killed them. E.G. Mine responded by introducing himself as the fifth Gung-Ho Gun. Infuriated, Vash repeated his question, demanding to know if E.G. Mine had killed them or not. E.G. Mine berated Vash for never killing anyone so "someone had to step up and cover [his] ass." He began trying to goad Vash into fighting with him, firing spikes at him but in an instant, Vash was right next to him with his gun under E.G. Mine's chin. They were then interrupted by Rai-Dei the Blade (disambiguation).

E.G. Mine became angry that Rai-Dei interrupted, to which Rai-Dei told E.G. Mine that he's out of his league against someone like Vash before stabbing him to death and taking his place in the fight. FIFTH MOON
