"DIABLO" is the twelfth episode of Trigun (1998 anime).
Synopsis
Legato arrives, and following in his wake is the first Gung-Ho Gun, Monev the Gale.

This episode's story is adapted from the Trigun chapters "ASSAULT", "BLOOD AND THUNDER", "DIABLO", and "FRAGILE", with the following notable differences:
- The order of events is changed: In the anime, Legato and Monev's introduction happens after Vash, Meryl, and Milly meet Wolfwood, but before the Little Arcadia arc. In the manga, the Little Arcadia arc precedes the introduction of Legato and Monev, and Wolfwood's introduction occurs after.
- The anime episode begins with the scene of Monev and Legato. In the manga, this occurs after Legato introduces himself to Vash and leaves behind the "gift."
