Notes
Trivia
- This is a clip show/recap episode. However, it also contains original segments that are important to the story's progression.
- Clips from the following episodes are featured:
- The preview for this episode, as seen after the end credits of DIABLO, features multiple reused clips from previous episodes that are not used in this episode's recap portions.
- The included clips from HARD PUNCHER have several notable differences:
- The clips are lighter in color than those in the episode.
- The scene of Vash stopping Gofsef's fist uses different sound effects than those in the original episode.
Errors
Dub
- In the English dub, December City is mistakenly referred to as the month by Meryl when she says "last December, four months ago." Meryl had previously stated the present date was July 20th, which makes it impossible for December to have been four months ago. This error is not present in the English subtitles for the original Japanese dialogue, where Meryl says "Four months ago, we, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, employees of the Bernardelli Insurance Society main office in December..."
Animation
- When Monev is pinned on the ground by Vash, a blue sky background is incorrectly used during the closeups of Monev's head instead of the sandy ground that he is shown to be laying on in other shots in this scene.
