The 1998 Trigun anime takes place across a number of different locations on the unnamed desert planet. This page provides an overview, with links where necessary to provide greater detail.
Major Cities
There are seven major cities in Trigun lore, though only five are mentioned in the anime:
Augusta
The city where Vash fights E.G. Mine and Rai-Dei the Blade. Legato takes control of Vash and forces him to destroy Augusta with his Angel Arm.FIFTH MOON
December City
Where Bernardelli HQ is located.Vash the Stampede
Inepril City
A city devastated by their Plants breaking down and in desperate need of money for repairs. The people of Inepril City attempt to Vash to claim the bounty, calling in the Nebraska Family for help.HARD PUNCHER When Vash defeated the Nebraskas, he gave the bounty money to the people of Inepril to be able to repair their Plants. Elizabeth, a Plant technician from the Marius-Bresken-Kantacle Industrial Technical Union, arrived when the Sandsteamer Flourish docked at the city. In an act of revenge, Elizabeth unsuccessfully attempted to overload one of the damaged Plants instead of repairing it in an attempt to kill Vash.LOST JULY Vash departed from Inepril City on the Flourish.B.
