Victor

LaserDisc & VHS [1]

This first release, consisting of 13 volumes, was released simultaneously on LaserDisc and VHS. The cover illustrations were done by Yasuhiro Nightow. Each volume included a 4-page newspaper-styled insert called Monthly Satellite Times, which contained bonus content such as production materials, messages and insight from the staff, interviews with the cast and crew, and illustrations from guest artists. Also included in each volume was a survey card which could be mailed to Victor Company of Japan to redeem points. Those who redeemed all 13 cards' worth of points (a total of 52) would receive a gift in return--a Kuroneko-sama plush toy--as a thank you for purchasing all 13 volumes.[1]
