Character
Appearance
Professor Nebraska's appearance is very similar in both the manga and anime. He is a short, gaunt old man, small enough to fit in the giant Gofsef's pocket. He has dark tan skin. He is mostly bald, but has pointy white/gray hair that sticks out on the sides of his head. He is missing many of his teeth, with only two teeth on his upper jaw and one on his lower jaw remaining. His nose is very small and flat, giving his head a skull-like appearance.
Professor Nebraska wears a white lab coat with large circular buttons and a black shirt underneath. He wears a green-tinted monocle on his left eye with a very short chain on the side.
Manga
Professor Nebraska's entire lower body has been replaced by a large gun. His arms and fingers can extend to help keep him supported. His hair is white and his nose is much flatter. There are two buttons on each sleeve of his lab coat. His black shirt has a lower neckline.
1998 anime
Professor Nebraska does not have a gun-body in the anime. He appears to have normal arms. He has grey hair and a more prominent nose (but still very small). His black shirt has a higher neckline and he wears white gloves.
Although they are not seen in the show itself, his character design included in the anime art book reveals that he has both of his legs and wears pants and heeled boots. The color of his pants and boots are unknown.

Marilyn is the Professor's eldest daughter. She is a regular-sized human like him. Not much is known of the Professor's relationship with her.

Professor Nebraska's lower body has been replaced by a very large gun. His arms and fingers mechanically extend to support his gun-body. It is unknown how it actually works, as the Professor is swiftly defeated by Meryl and Milly before being able to fire off a shot.

Derringer
Professor Nebraska wields a very long modified Derringer.
