Synopsis
In May City, Wolfwood signs up Vash in a Quick Draw tournament so he can use the prize money to help a family struggling with debts.

- The Monthly Satellite Times headline for this episode reads "Humanoid Typhoon Shows Up At The Quick Draw Tournament"
- According to the advert for the Quick Draw tournament, the date that the event occurs is April 1, 0131.
- Vash's personal data sheet (as filled out by Wolfwood) is dated March 31, 0131, the day before the tournament is scheduled to occur.
- The designs of many of the liquor bottles seen in this episode appear to be based on real-world brands, including:

Animation
- The Punisher's straps are missing when Wolfwood enters Claire's restaurant, as well as later in the episode when he catches the Punisher during the shootout.
- The advert for the Quick Draw tournament says April "1th" instead of "1st."
- The advert and banner for the Quick Draw tournament both say "3nd" instead of "3rd."
- The tournament organizer's mustache is missing when the doctor is speaking to the nurse.
- The Quick Draw bracket misspells Vash's name as "Vash the Stanpede."
- The tomato sauce stains on Vash and Wolfwood's clothing appear and disappear between shots.
