Erik is a minor character who appears in Trigun (1998 anime).

Biography

Erik was traveling on the bus to May City, sitting in the seat in front of Vash. He was desperately waiting to use the bus' bathroom while Meryl was in it.

When the bus stopped for a break, Erik was attacked by a strange robot, wounding his left shoulder. One of the passengers called out for help and that Erik had gone crazy, attracting Vash and Wolfwood's attention. A crowd of passengers gathered around Erik, who lay on the ground in pain, clutching his shoulder. They asked if he was okay and what happened. Erik tried to respond but struggled to speak. He was loaded onto a stretcher and brought onto the bus as the scared passengers wondered what had happened to Erik. Milly accused Vash of being responsible, but Vash responded that no mortal had hurt the man like that. The strange robots suddenly burst from the sand and began chasing the passengers, who fled onto the bus.

Once on the bus, Wolfwood began to attempt treating the wounded Erik, who lay on the stretcher in the bus aisle. When a mother on the bus realized her daughter was missing, Vash and Wolfwood both turned to Milly and Meryl, telling them to take care of the wounded man, before they both leapt from the back of the bus to rescue the missing girl.

By the time Vash and Wolfwood returned to the bus, Erik's shoulder had been bandaged and he had been able to leave the stretcher and return to his seat to complete his journey to May City.MURDER MACHINE
