When Wolfwood did not have enough money to pay the bus fare, the bus driver agreed to cut him a deal. As a thank you, Wolfwood placed the portable confessional on the confused bus driver's head and offered him a free confession. The bus driver rejected the offer and walked away. Vash, having witnessed the encounter, remarked that Wolfwood's job looked tough and asked if the confessional was part of his gospel. Wolfwood responded that it was all business in order to get money for his church, which doubled as an orphanage.
