Summary

There's a mysterious past buried in the mind of the affable, yet somehow incredibly dangerous Vash the Stampede, and everyone on this desert planet seems to know about it. Well, enter two insurance adjuster ladies, claiming that the man is a localized disaster, and voila! No more bounty. But that doesn't seem to end Vash's troubles, or his trail of destruction.

Notes & Trivia

• This release features different cover artwork, gag covers, and Nightow bonus comic than those used in the Shonen Captain Comics Special release of Trigun Volume 2.
• An exclusive hardcover edition of the Dark Horse English edition of book was sold by Barnes & Noble in 2004.

Errors

• The Dark Horse English back cover blurb has multiple errors:
  • Vash's bounty is said to be sixty million instead of sixty billion.
  • Vash's catchphrase is written incorrectly as "Peace and Love!" instead of "Love and Peace!" This mistake is repeated on multiple volumes of Trigun Maximum as well.
