Many foreign releases of [[Trigun (1998 anime)|''Trigun'']] use the original Japanese title cards, 18 of which were written in English, with all letters capitalized. Some English Pioneer releases used replacement English-language title cards, with inconsistent capitalization, formatting, and fonts used, for the 8 episodes originally titled in kanji. The Geneon Remix release omitted the Pioneer English title cards, instead adding soft coded subtitles on the original Japanese title cards. The Funimation English release replaced all existing title cards with new ones, no longer in all uppercase letters and with several minor alterations to 4 episodes.
